I suffered a Trojan virus attack that really goobered-up my system to the point that I could not open any executable files (Internet Explorer, iTunes, Word, Xcel, etc) without getting error messages involving the files rundll32.exeĪnd msdt.exe. I am Running Windows 7 and the Doug Knox file association fix site worked for me (even though it is listed for the Windows XP :)ĮDIT: When I turned my Laptop on this morning, for the first time in a week, my anti-virus software poped up - meaning my programs were working again, and they were! When I go to start up the help program posted earlier by -Oleg- program, I can "open" or "save" it fine. Whenever I go to open any program, except internet explorer/firefox, I get the "Application not found" or "What would you like to run this with" message. So I have the same Problem, running Vista Home Premium 64-bit. I'm new to these forums so if stuff looks a little weird that would be why.
